The Department was planned in 1980. With the approval of U.G.C. and the State Government, the department was established in 1996 as per the norms prescribed by All India Council of Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.), New Delhi. The MBA programme of the Department is approved by AICTE.
The main objective of the department is to motivate bright young men and women with knowledge, abilities and skills to perform their roles as versatile managers through the M.B.A. - Full time programmed offered to them.
